BU Introduces "Price Freeze" for non-EU Students

We’ve introduced a "price freezing policy" for non-EU undergraduate students enrolling in courses starting in October 2007.

The promise is part of our commitment to non-EU undergraduate students to ensure we keep the costs of studying as fair and transparent as possible.

This will help you budget more effectively for your studies as you'll know exactly how much you'll be paying (in Pounds sterling per year) when you begin your course.

You'll still be entitled to pay in two installments, or receive a 5% discount if you pay in full at enrolment.

This policy applies to you if you're a student from outside the European Union, classified as an international student for fees purposes, and you are studying an undergraduate degree at BU.

If you are beginning your undergraduate course at BU in October 2007, you'll pay either £7,000, £7,500 or £8,000, depending on the course you're studying.

Whatever tuition fee you pay in your first year, you'll continue to pay for the duration of your course.

Undergraduate courses at BU are either three or four years in duration.

If you're on a "sandwich course" - a four year course with a work placement year in your third year, before returning to the University for your fourth - you'll pay £1,500 for this year.

This is because you're not using the facilities of the University as much during your placement year, but are still a BU student, and therefore entitled to use all of our facilities.
