South Africa comes to BU

The senior management team from South Africa’s Vaal University of Technology travelled across the globe to visit Bournemouth University from 3 to 4 May.

Vaal University of Technology (VUT) Vice Chancellor Professor Ireng Moutlana along with Wiseman Jack, Director of International Relations, came to share and learn with BU about each university’s structure, programmes, research and operations.

The visitors from VUT met with the Vice Chancellor of BU, Professor John Vinney as well as Deputy Vice Chancellor Professor Tim McIntyre-Bhatty and Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Matthew Bennett amongst others. Professor Tom Watson, who invited the visitors from VUT to meet academics and students from across The Media School, the School of Design, Engineering and Computing and the School of Tourism, hosted the visit.
