The Purbeck Film Festival 2007
In partnership with BAFTA and Southwest Screen
The Purbeck Film Festival is the biggest and longest running rural film festival in the UK, this year the festival will show 98 separate screenings to 4,500 spectators over two weeks in several venues.
The Festival aims to bring a wide selection of thematically chosen films to entertain and enlighten its audiences within the community at large and especially in those rural areas which are without easy access to public cinema.
At its centre is a general commitment to broaden the understanding and enjoyment of the general public in the shared experience of cinema by offering a wide selection of films and film courses.
