The BSMA will award approximately 14 bursaries across these courses. Each bursary will cover up to 80% of course fees for students starting in the academic year 2010/11. The primary aim of these awards is to assist students who face financial difficulty in attaining the qualifications needed to pursue a career in media.

Bursary applicants must demonstrate their financial need and provide evidence that they have taken advantage of all sources of funding available. Applicants should also show their long term commitment and enthusiasm for working in and contributing to the UK Film Industry after completing their studies.

The deadline for BSMA bursary applications is Friday, 2 July 2010, for entry in September 2010.
