BIRST - Bournemouth Internet Radio Station

Bournemouth Internet Radio Station launches today.

BIRSt, Bournemouth University's online radio station has launched today.

The digital station, delivers a mix of comedy, drama, features, sport, specialist music, international and experimental productions - all of which can be listened to live or 'on-demand' using the 'Listen again' service.

The station will also feature interviews and guest appearances including Tim Malton - the author of "101 Things You Thought You Knew About The Titanic But Didn't", Singer Daniel Duke, Poet Ivar Macsween and the Oxjam organisers.

Now in it's eleventh year, BIRSt is presented and produced by twelve postgraduate radio production students from Bournemouth University.

BIRSt will run from 2pm-5pm every Monday and Friday throughout the rest of June.
