Open Days BU Open Day attracts record numbers

BU Open Day attracts over 1,600 prospective new students

BU welcomed visitors to both campuses as we hosted our first midweek General Open Day. Activities in the Sports Hall, lecture theatres and other venues on the Talbot and Lansdowne Campuses focused on giving prospective students and their families an insider's view of life at the University.

Over 1,600 prospective students who are hoping to start their courses in 2007 pre-registered for the event which was co-ordinated by the Education Liaison team in International and Corporate Relations and supported by Academic Schools and Professional Services across the University.

The day allowed our guests to find out for themselves just what makes BU special.

Our Open Days are extremely popular and attract a large number of students, who are interested in finding out more about all about our courses, the University and what it is like to be a student in Bournemouth. The next event takes place on Friday 27th October 2006.
