The Journalism Diversity Fund was launched by the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) on behalf of the media industry to promote careers in Journalism by awarding bursaries to those from minority ethnic and social communities without the financial means to attend NCTJ accredited courses.

The Media School offers the BA (Hons) Multi-Media Journalism which is accredited by the NCTJ and will offer successful graduates the potential to succeed in one of the most exciting and rewarding careers around.

The fund has been set up with the help of the Newspaper Licensing Agency (NLA) and will be supported by leading publishing companies who want to join together to support the training of journalists from ethnically and socially diverse backgrounds.
