South West Screen is offering an industry-backed Post Graduate Bursary Fund 12 July 2007 |
South West Screen is offering an industry-backed Post Graduate Bursary Fund to provide financial support to talented and highly motivated students, for whom the cost of continuing studies might provide a barrier to taking up a post graduate level vocational course. Three awards will be made, each of £3,000.
A panel of senior industry members will select the three award winners. Talent, motivation and a well thought out career path are the main criteria. Applicants must be looking to attend a post graduate course with Skillset
accreditation and/or industry approval. All subject strands are eligible, there are, however, skills areas which the Bursary Fund has prioritised: script writing/ screen writing, film and television production, CGI and animation.
Although the applicant must be from the South West, the actual course can be anywhere in the UK.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 31 August 2007 and awards will be announced by Friday 14 September 2007.
