Call for papers (refereed) for the 3rd Conference in 2007


3rd Project Management Conference 3rd Project Management Conference: Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
Thursday 13 - 14 September 2007

A third Conference is being planned, with the same title as those in 2003 and 2005.

This time the pace is being increased by having the papers refereed. Having obtained agreement with Prof. Rodney Turner , the 10 best papers presented at the 3rd Conference in Sep 2007 will be published in a special edition of the International Journal of Project Management in November 2007.

The official call for papers and details can be found in the April 2006 edition of the International Journal of Project Management.

I hope you may be able to submit a paper for review or join the conference as a delegate to listen to some of the best practice in Excellence in Teaching and Learning for Project Management.


The timetable of events for the papers will be as follows:

April 2006. Call for abstracts on the topic of Excellence of Teaching and Learning for Project Management in IJPM. This should contain approximately 500 words, please also include up to a maximum of 5 key words.

  • Abstracts to arrive by 2nd June 2006.
  • Replies to all authors by 28th July 2006.
  • Completed papers to be submitted by 19th Jan 2007.
  • Comments from the Review Panel returned to authors on 6th April 2007.
  • Revised papers returned to Bournemouth University by 1st June 2007.
  • Final Review of papers, selection of best 10 for IJPM and forwarding onto Elsevier 27 July 2007.
  • 3rd Conference of Excellence in Teaching and Learning for Project Management at Bournemouth University 13th -14th September 2007.
