BU will host a one-day workshop tol focus on the role of domestic and commercial property in carbon reduction.

Asset Skills, in conjunction with Universities South West, will run a free, one-day pilot CPD learning workshop at BU on 16 September to cover the up-skilling needed to meet the low carbon challenge in Property, Housing and Facilities Management.

The workshop will focus on the role of domestic and commercial property in carbon reductions, the importance of sustainability in combating climate change and the legislative targets and policy drivers which have necessitated this initiative. Key speakers for the day include:

  • Jae Mather - The Carbon Free Group
  • Ed Horgan - Briar Associates (Representing the Carbon Trust)
  • Linn Rafferty - Asset Skills Associate
  • Richard Foxwell - Asset Skills (Chair and Facilitator)

As this event is a pilot, delegate input will be imperative to shape the further events which will take place across the country in the coming months. The event will also offer delegates a CPD certificate.

The full itinerary for the day is available here.
