Medical research centre’s annual symposium

Medical professionals at conference The Centre of Postgraduate Medical Research & Education is pleased to announce its annual symposium taking place on 16 September.

BU’s Centre for Postgraduate Medical Research & Education will be holding its sixth annual symposium on Wednesday 16 September from 8.45am to 4.30pm on Talbot Campus.

The ‘Research Innovation and Interprofessional Learning’ symposium is aimed at doctors, GPs, allied health professionals, academics and anyone with an interest in medical research and education.

The keynote speakers for this event are:

Professor Stuart Logan, Director, National Institute for Health Research, Peninsula Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (PenCLAHRC).- ‘Engagement by Design’

Professor Karen Mann, Division of Medical Education, Dalhousie University, Canada – ‘Interprofessional Education: What is its role in Medical Education?’
