Returning graduates give talk on Olympic Park South Project

Two returning graduates yesterday gave a presentation highlighting their work on the upcoming Olympics for London based catering company Sodexho Prestige.

Rachel Day, who graduated in 2001 from the BA (Hons) International Hospitality Management programme and is now the Accounts Director for the Olympic Park South Project at Sodexho Prestige, led the presentation. Joining her was Jo Morgan, the Senior HR Manager, who graduated in 2004 from the BA (Hons) Hospitality Management programme. Within the same team there was also a third graduate, Rak Kalidas who is Operations Manager for the same project.

The presentation focused on the logistical aspects of planning for such a unique event. They also talked about their career development in the Events Industry, including Rachel's last two years spent living in Canada working on the last Winter Olympics.
