A team of BU students has taken inspiration for Formula One, aerospace and the theatre to put together their entry for a national hospitality competition.
Four students have created a 10-minute YouTube video based on the topic of 'What and how can hospitality best learn from other industries' for this year's Master Innholders competition.
The aim of the competition is to look at developments in other industries and how hotels can best learn from those innovations. The students are hoping to build on the University's success last year when a group of BU students came second in the contest.
This year's team is made up of final year students Trevor Childs, Fredericos Tsaparas, Rebbeca Cupitt and Steven Driscoll who are studying hospitality in the School of Tourism.
Steven said: "Our video picks ideas from Formula One, theatre, retail, aerospace and securities industries."
The results of the competition will be announced on Friday 17 December and the winners will be invited to attend next year's Master Innholders' conference for industry professionals.
