Paul Cheetham A skeleton in the closet?  

This week, listeners to the Radio 4's classic agro-soap The Archers will be aware that Eddie Grundy made the potentially gruesome discovery of human remains while using a mechanical digger to excavating for a new picnic area in Millennium Woods. Paul Cheetham, Senior lecturer in Archaeological Science and a practicing forensic archaeologist, was consulted by writers regarding how the discovery of a skeleton would be dealt with by police and forensic archaeologists, how it might be shown to be of only archaeological interest, and how it would subsequently be excavated.
