Roman archaeology An unmissable archaeological event

February sees a major new conference event organised by Current Archaeology magazine and the British Museum’s Department of Portable Antiquities and Treasure. The conference takes place on February 9th and 10th at the British Museum in London, Archaeology 2008 and will bring you all the latest news and views from the archaeological world in a two day feature-packed calendar.

Our very own Dr Miles Russell and Professor Timothy Darvill will both be speaking at the event, the former on Saturday 9th from 10:05 to10:25 with his In the shadow of the Colossus: searching for the Roman Kings of Britain presentation. The same day sees Professor Darvill appearing from 11:10 to11:30 with his Beyond Stonehenge: stairways to heaven? presentation.
