Forensics Auction It's your chance to help a good cause

Once again this year, the School of Conservation Sciences is supporting today’s ‘Cash for Kids’ charity auction organised by the radio station Wave 105 FM.

The School has offered a unique ‘Forensics Day’ which will be offered for auction on the air this afternoon between 2.00 – 3.00 pm.

The prize includes an opportunity to join our leading Forensic experts during a special day next year for an introduction to the science by joining our unique air crash investigation exercise, visiting our DNA lab and joining a crime scene investigation at Rose Cottage.

Money raised from Wave 105 FM’s ‘Cash for Kids’ charity auction will go to three children’s charities in the region – the Teenage Cancer Trust, Southampton; the Elizabeth Foundation, Porstmouth; the Round Table Children’s Wish, Bournemouth.

Last year’s prize-winners donated £500 for the experience, travelling from Portsmouth in July to enjoy their day at BU. As a result, two of those visitors have joined us as students and another three have applied for next year.

To view this year’s prize online, visit the Wave 105 FM website.
