On 18th April, Bournemouth University and the Game & Wildlife Conservervation Trust collaborated to bring together over 100 ecologists, conservation managers and farmers to share knowledge on the Agriculture and Biodiversity. Topics included integrated farming, biomass crops, carbon management and organic farming.
This was the lastest in a series of meetings organised by the Wessex Conservation Forum which is run by BU's Centre for Conservation Ecology and Environmental Change to strengthen links and foster collaboration between organisations in the local area.
The organisers were delighted by the feedback - which was 100% positive. Delegates were particularly impressed with the quality of the talks with comments ranging from “excellent range of speakers” and “very well balanced and informative” through to “well organised and run”.
