Major Prize for DEC Researcher |
Congratulations to PhD student Adam Eyto from Bournemouth Universitys School of Design, Engineering and Computing who has returned from a key international conference with a major prize.
Adam won the Leo Jansen Award at the International Conference on Engineering Education in Sustainable Development held in Lyon last month. The award recognises and honours Adams significant scientific contribution in the field of Engineering Education in Sustainable Development and, more specifically, for his paper Learning Strategies in Sustainable Design for students and professionals.
Adam is currently working towards his PhD part-time through the Sustainable Design Research Centre in the School. His supervisors are Professor Mark Hadfield who heads the Centre and Maggie Hutchings from the Universitys Institute of Health and Community Studies.
