IT Kidz of Africa |
Two Bournemouth University computing students have set up a charity, IT Kidz of Africa, with the aim of increasing levels of computer literacy in Africa; particularly, but not exclusively amongst children. In view of achieving this objective, they will be setting up, and running a pilot project in Nigeria. The students, who are currently in their placement year will be setting off to Nigeria in the coming weeks for the first stage of their trip.
The students will be staying in touch with the University to let us know their progress before they return in October to complete the final year of their degrees.
