In memory of Professor Denzil Claremont

It is with great sadness that Bournemouth University announces the passing of Professor Denzil Claremont over the recent holiday season. |
Professor Claremont was a long time member of the academic team in the University’s School of Design, Engineering and Computing. He was a Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Head of Research for the School before he retired due to ill health in 2008.
Many colleagues will remember him and the strong links he built up with Salisbury Hospital that continue today and the Academic Biomedical Engineering Research Group (ABERG) the he set up and led.
The family have asked for donations to the British Heart Foundation in memoriam.
