Spring Graduates Awarded

BU's newest graduates have been honoured in this year's annual Spring Awards Ceremonies.

Hundreds of graduates from a range of subject areas were awarded their degrees, diplomas and professional qualifications over three ceremonies on the University's Talbot Campus.

Special guests who attended the ceremonies included local Mayors and the High Sheriff of Dorset.

This is the eighth consecutive year that BU has hosted Spring Ceremonies on campus.

Traditionally, the University hosts its Awards Ceremonies at the Bournemouth International Centre in November.

BU Press and Public Relations Manager Charles Elder said: “This annual occasion provides an excellent opportunity for graduates in a number of subject areas who are confirmed as award recipients outside of the usual academic period to receive their degrees and diplomas.

“Hosting ceremonies at the University is also special as many families and friends of graduates may not have visited our campus before so we were pleased to welcome people from across the country and abroad.”
