SM Lecturer invited to join UNEP-UNWTO-WMO-Oxford High-Level Seminar

Dr. Maharaj Vijay Reddy was one of thirty international tourism & environment experts selected to participate in the United Nations Environment Programme, UN World Tourism Organisation and World Meteorological Organisation high-level seminar entitled Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation in the Tourism Sector: Frameworks, tools and practices: An International Seminar focusing on Developing Countries and Small Island States at University of Oxford, April 2008. The selection criteria was based on applicants being senior officials from countries' Tourism Ministries, Environment Ministries, Climate Professionals, National Tourism Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations and the Private sector, with particular emphasis on developing countries and small island states.
