PhD Networking Conference

Exploring Tourism II: Issues in PhD Research

Following the success of the conference held at Leeds Metropolitan University last June, the International Centre for Tourism & Hospitality Research (ICTHR), School of Services Management, Bournemouth University, hosted Exploring Tourism II: Issues in PhD Research in association with the University of Exeter.

Held at the Talbot Campus of Bournemouth University, the aim of the conference was to bring together and exchange experiences of PhD students in tourism and related subjects. Participants of this networking conference had the opportunity to present their research in parallel sessions and further discuss issues and experiences in an informal and multidisciplinary environment.

A number of experienced keynote speakers provided a variety of insights into current research and publishing practice within the interdisciplinary field of tourism. These presentations can be found at the bottom of this page.
