The aim of the conference was to advance the existing body of knowledge on event tourism and to explore further with both academics and practitioners the contribution of events to the enhancement of destinations and the broader visitor economy.

Economic Impact and Legacy Studies; Socio-Cultural, Transport & Infrastructure Impact and Legacy Studies; Destination Image and Branding; Destination Management; Multi-Micro Event Strategies; Sport Event Tourism; Mega-Event Management and Research; Olympic Tourism and related Research Studies; National and Regional Policy Making; Conceptual Studies; and Event Research Methodologies.
