Roman Gerodimos, lecturer in communication and journalism theory at BU, was featured in a USA Today article about spending policies in the European Union. Roman, who lectures in global current affairs, commented on planned strikes and rallys opposing new austerity cuts in Greece.
Roman, who is Greek, said: "What's new is not so much the strikes themselves but the dynamics within the coalition government which are quote worrying."
"We have seen the return of political gains and brinkmanship – this discussion has really got stuck over the last month or so, so there is really a feeling of impending doom," he added.
