Britain’s favourite radio presenter will launch his Red Nose Rally-oke at the University’s night club, The Old Fire Station, on Friday, 9 March.
The celebrity-packed karaoke gig will feature pop sensations McFly and TV presenter Vernon Kay, as well as BU graduate Rachel Jones.
Rachel, who completed her BA (Hons) in Media Production in 1995, produces The Chris Moyles Show which has around 10 million listeners each day.
The Rally-oke roadshow will travel throughout the UK, taking in Swansea, Liverpool, Belfast, Glasgow, Loughborough and London, leading up to Red Nose Day on Friday, 16 March.
In 2005, Chris and his team raised nearly £630,000 for Comic Relief during his Red Nose Rally from John O’Groats to Land’s End.
