Arrangements for the Christmas Break

The Christmas - New Year closure arrangements for 2006 are as follows:

Friday 22 December 2006 - University closes at 1600 hours.
University buildings will be closed at 1600 hours.

Apart from the few exceptions listed below, staff and students will not have access to the University until Tuesday 2 January.

Open Access (Dorset House, Talbot campus)
This area will remain open 24 hours a day throughout the period.
Open Access (Studland Hse, Lansdowne Campus)
This area will remain open 24 hours a day throughout the period
Library & Learning Centre (Talbot campus) - will open on the following dates and times, for reference use only.
Wednesday 27 December 1000 - 1600 hours
Thursday 28 December 1000 - 1600 hours
Friday 29 December 1000 - 1600 hours
Students and staff will be able to access PCs (including e-resources)/printers/copiers and to printed journals and book collections - for reference use only. (Self-issue machines will not be available.)

Chapliancy/prayer room (Talbot House) - this area will be open from 0800 - 2300 throughout the period. All other areas in Talbot House will be closed.

Tuesday 2 January 2007 - University opens from 0730 hours.
