Jeremy Gardiner – Recent Work
Until Saturday 21 April 2007
Atrium Gallery, Talbot Campus, Bournemouth University
Gardiner’s connection with the Dorset coastline dates back to his childhood and his artwork has, for over a decade, focused on this landscape of particular beauty.
His paintings and prints incorporate references to sites of scientific interest on the Isle of Purbeck, and their aesthetic value is enriched by the presence of geological time and fossil fragments.
The exhibition on display at BU evokes a walk through time, exposing layers of history as well as insights into Gardiner’s lifelong journeys and explorations along the coast.
The Gallery is located in Poole House, opposite Waterstone’s bookstore, on our Talbot Campus.
Access to the Atrium Gallery is via stairs and chairlift, in two stages, to the first floor.
When: 9.00am 6.00pm, Monday - Saturday, until Saturday 21 April 2007.
Where: Atrium Gallery, Talbot Campus.
