Double Scoop for The Media School at the Royal Television Society awards. |
The Media School scored well at the Royal Television Society Southern Centre Awards 2007, with BA (Hons) Television Production student, Louise Palmer, winning the Best Student Factual Programme award for her graduation film "Zabbaleen: The Rubbish Collectors of Cairo".
This is the sixth year in a row that the Television degree has won an RTS award. This particular film is also the 'grand jury winner' at the Exposures UK Student Film Festival.
TV Senior Lecturer, Sue Sudbury, also scooped an RTS award at the same event, in the best Non-Broadcast Programme category.
