Some of The Media School's most successful graduates have come back to recruit the university’s latest crop of exceptional students.

The Media School's excellent links within the media industry were highlighted this month when two graduates, both having experienced great success in globally-respected companies, contacted the university in hope of recruiting its new graduates.

Farhana Aboo, who graduated from the BA (Hons) Advertising and Marketing Communications course in 2004, has spent the last year working as an intern at MTV. She hopes to find a graduate to replace her as the internship concludes."It's a well known fact that The Media School is one of the best in the UK and has really good links with the industry, as well as a good reputation," she said.

"I loved my time at Bournemouth. My degree has provided me with a strong foundation that I can build upon which will hopefully lead to better things."

She added, "All us graduates are really proud of The Media School and want to give something back to help the next lot of graduates in this highly competitive industry."

Fellow thriving graduate, Jamie Hall, who left Bournemouth in 2000 also with a degree in BA (Hons) Advertising and Marketing Communications, has been working for the marketing team at Ben Sherman for the last six years. He contacted us recently looking for exceptional students to join his team.

He said, "Things are going really well and the job is extremely challenging. I travel a lot, but have a great brand to work with so I can't complain."
