The Media School regularly exhibit at this annual event for media professionals; the only event in the UK that brings together the complete production chain, from camera to screen. Covering every major format from Blu-ray and IPTV to HDTV and AV, the Expo is an excellent opportunity to get to grips with all the latest technology; giving individuals the opportunity to learn best practise from some of the finest practitioners in the country. Last year 96% of visitors said they would recommend the show to colleagues.

As well as providing visitors with details of BUs full range of industry relevant postgraduate courses, this year we will also be launching an exciting range of brand new short courses. These innovative short courses are designed to meet the needs of media professionals, for relevant, industry focused and flexible professional development opportunities.

In the course development we have responded to the needs of media professionals and taken a fresh approach to how we deliver these courses. At the core of each course is a two-day 'creative retreat' (Friday/Saturday) in Bournemouth where you will be able to network with other like minded professionals, as well as develop your knowledge and skills in the specific area of study. To further compliment the knowledge gained from the weekend session, an additional six weeks of online tuition/support is available; culminating in the award of 20 Masters level (M) credits ? which you can use to build you own tailored Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma or a full Masters degree. The wide range of courses on offer fall into a number of different sectors:

The flexible nature of the courses allow you to 'mix and match', so you can develop a truly individual personal development plan that is tailored to your very own needs. If you would like to find out more - and can't wait till Broadcast Video Expo then visit our course information pages.
