PR Agency of the Year wants our Graduates CAT Footwear and Shine Communications work with our students |
Our BA (Hons) Public Relations students were in London, making friends and influencing people, on Thursday when they presented their marketing PR campaigns to Simon Abbott, UK Marketing Director of CAT Footwear, and Jodie Cosh and Natalie Turner from Shine Communications, CAT's recently-appointed agency.
All four groups of students (all of whom had taken the marketing public relations option in their final year) presented detailed proposals at Shine's Clerkenwell offices. Simon Abbott - who had rushed on an overnight flight from the US to see the presentations - was genuinely astonished at the quality of their work, and the confidence and professionalism of the presentations.
Jodie Cosh was so impressed she immediately asked if Shine could be involved with next year's group, and invited all graduating PR students to apply for their highly sought-after graduate scheme.
This is not only a tribute to our students but a reminder that they make a vital contribution to the sound reputation of the Media School within the industry. Congratulations to all concerned!
Shine Communications has won a succession of major awards since it was founded in 1999, and is currently "Marketing" PR Agency of the Year.
