BU’s Dr John Oliver has been elected Deputy President of the European Media Management Association. |
Dr John Oliver, from the Media School, has been elected to the Board of the European Media Management Association (EMMA). As Deputy President, he will support and help develop the association’s activities over the next two years.
The association, which comprises of members from 24 European countries, acts as a forum for the exchange of ideas, education, research into media management and delivers industry training to the media industry.
Dr Oliver said “I’m delighted and honoured to be elected to the post and am looking forward to working with the President, Professor Greg Lowe from the University of Tampere, and other board and association members”.
