Stonehenge reveals more of its secret past |
The Time Team Special shown this week profiled the work of the AHRC funded Stonehenge Riverside Project. Dr Kate Welham and Mark Dover are part of the project team and have been working with Bournemouth students to help reveal the secrets of Stonehenge. Dr Welham said that the results from the project had been more than we could have ever hoped for, and that the project had given Bournemouth students a fantastic opportunity to gain fieldwork experience at one of Britain’s most iconic prehistoric sites.
