Professor Matthew Bennett |
Professor Matthew Bennett (Dean of Conservation Sciences) has been invited to become Editor in Chief of Sedimentary Geology published by Elsevier.
The journal is one of the top international sedimentology journals with an impact factor of 1.75. Matthew takes up the position from the 1 August 2008. Sedimentary Geology encompasses all aspects of research into sediments and sedimentary rocks at all spatial and temporal scales and provides a forum for the publication of high-quality research papers of general interest across the entire range of subjects falling under the umbrella of sedimentary geology, from techniques of sediment analysis to geodynamical aspects of sedimentary-basin evolution.
