Book becomes bestseller |
England: an Oxford Archaeological Guide was last week listed at number 2 in the Top 10 Academic Bestsellers at Blackwell.co.uk according to the Times Higher Education (24 July 2008, 47). The book, written by Bournemouth University's Timothy Darvill together with colleagues Paul Stamper and Jane Timby was first published by Oxford University Press in 2002, since when it has become an established handbook for those exploring England's prehistoric, Roman, and medieval monuments.
