Everyone's a winner? |
The CIWM Wessex New Generation Group organised a 'pub quiz' in the Loft bar on Thursday 20th November 2008 entitled 'Waste Matters - A rubbish quiz!!' which proved a great success with approx. 50 students coming and testing their environmental knowledge with the added attraction of a free drink and buffet!
The Chartered Institution of Wastes Management is the industry's leading body with over 7,000 members in the UK and overseas and is dedicated to the protection and enhancement of the environment. Full time students are entitled to free membership of CIWM for the first year. The New Generation Groups are for new and younger members of the CIWM to encourage new members to participate in the work of the CIWM, network with educational establishments and to introduce career opportunities in wastes management.
