Dr Kenneth Vall (AECC) with Professor Paul Curran (BU) Chiropractic College and University to continue working closely together over the coming years.

The Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) and BU have renewed their close relationship by signing a memorandum of understanding to continue to work together for the next five years.

At a ceremony on the University’s Talbot Campus, Dr Kennneth Vall, Principal of the AECC, and Professor Paul Curran, Vice-Chancellor of BU, signed an agreement confirming the organisations’ commitment to a new long-term partnership.  The AECC, which is based in Boscombe, Bournemouth, continues as an Associate College of BU.

The AECC and BU have worked in partnership over the last five years to provide high quality education through a range of Chiropractic programmes. These include Ultrasound, Advanced Professional Practice (Clinical Sciences) and the Masters degree in Chiropractic (MChiro).

In the context of the challenging financial climate for Higher Education and other services, the new agreement will help to assure the stability of this important suite of academic programmes which serve the needs of local, national and international students.

“I am delighted that the AECC has agreed a new five year contract with Bournemouth University,” said Dr Vall. “This will mean that we remain an Associate College of BU and we now have the stability to look forward to new and exciting developments for our institution.”

“We’re very pleased to continue our relationship with the AECC,” said Professor Curran.  “It is important for the University to work collaboratively with high quality institutions and the College has an outstanding international reputation for innovative Chiropractic education.”
