Steve Fletcher Dr Steve Fletcher joins Conservation Sciences

Senior Lecturer in Coastal and Marine Affairs is appointed

Dr Steve Fletcher has recently joined the School as Senior Lecturer in Coastal and Marine Affairs.

He is an experienced coastal professional who is actively involved coastal management initiatives including as chair of the Hamble Estuary Partnership and Solent European Marine Sites Stakeholder Group. He conducts research into coastal and marine policy with a particular emphasis on stakeholder issues, and is currently editing two special issues of journals focusing on those topics.

Steve also chairs the Coastal and Marine Working Group of the Royal Geographical Society and has recently conducted research for the National Maritime Museum, Defra, and the Crown Estate..
